The party is the day after Halloween!

I just found out Hunter leaves Nov. 1st!    Christmas is coming early here in Pleasantville.
I will be wrapping myself in GLEE!
May even put up my Christmas tree.
So what if the only one here to enjoy it is me?
I will find beauty in all that I see,
Cuz no one will be here to steal my joy.  Opps.  I was on a roll there for a minute.

Now Maggie has a big bump on the top of her head.  Since I am the gentle one in the house and I don't recall any cinder block falling on her head......well, I shutter to think.  You really think it just mysteriously appeared?  On the plus side.....she is fine.  Nothing different about her behavior.

We have a gift certificate for the apple orchard and I need to see if Hunter wants to go in the next day or two.  He is gone most of November and I think they close Dec. 1st.  I love their apple cider donuts!!!!!!!  We buy a bunch and leave out a few, freezing the rest.  Then I heat them just a touch in the microwave.  To die for!

I hate that Halloween will be cold.  I always like to sit out and hand out the candy.  I light candles and I get to see all the kids.  They don't have to climb the few steps up to the door.  And I hand out treats to the dogs.  But I don't think I will be doing that this year.

Hey!  All you guys in the way of the storm......please be safe.  Peace.

Anything and everything except poop.

Today's candle is:  Chocolate Chip Cookie.

Today's T-Shirt saying is:  LISTEN & SILENT
                             have the same letters.
                                Coincidence?

Well, at least you got that much out of me.  What do you do if you don't know who you are?  Who you were.  But you know you were somebody.

No more candles after today because Hunter is coming back tomorrow.  Unless he decides to come back Saturday.  Stay tuned as our candle program will return in November.
I will make a pot roast tomorrow that he can heat up whenever he gets here.  The way things usually go indicate that he will either have eaten or wants something else instead.  It's kinda of that Murphy's Law thing.  Sometimes I feel like Job and yet......I have had nothing bad happen to me.  I have had the strenght to deal with the "tests" placed in front of me but not in the right spirit.  I cleared my head of anything but the task at hand.  And many of those tests lasted at least a year.

My son and daughter-in-law really have made it their mission to get me to fly out there.  I really want to go.  I can't seem to convince my husband to let me go.  Right now there are tickets available for $80 (ea. way, I imagine.)    I need to go.  I need the peace and joy.  I need to see at least one of my kids who is doing well despite their disabilities and the fact that their kids are in therapy.  They know what they are doing.  And.....they are doing it.  I want to be there for Thanksgiving - Jennifer's favorite holiday.  I want to be there earlier for a Christian concert.  And I want to be there for Jennifer's Baptism.  I have committed to my daughter that I will go to an all day music thing for my grand daughter.  Also for a concert she tried out for and made the band.  Both these places are farther than her car can be relied on to go.  I love going to anything music!  Especially when it is my family performing.  But it is stressful.  The relationship between the three of us is so strained.  My daughter doesn't know how I feel.  I know she loves me but it weird.  We are not close the way I think we should be.  I could understand if she had a strong, busy family life.  But it bothers me that she really only calls when she needs me.

I know that all I do is complain and whine.  I know I have no right or reason to do so.
This is my journal.  This is where I put my feelings.  All of them.  OK.  I probably won't ever write about poop.  Just not my ....... well, just yuk.  Like the commercial says, "We all go.  Why not enjoy the go."  I have often thought about going into advertising.  I can see they really need me now.  I mean really?  "Have a happy? period."  Any one who has ever bled out of their "playground" would not respond positively to that ad.

The hell!  I'm still here?  Gotta go.  Bye.

Last on the List Again.

But that's ok.  He's not even on my list.  And my list is short.  Matters not as I will go my own way today.  We are taking Maggie to the vet this morning.  I will go along so I can ask my questions and also get the true answers as Hunter tends to get it wrong, or ignore it.  If  I don't go along he will get mad at any questions I have regarding the visit to the vet.  He's often says...."Go ask them/him or her yourself!"  He is unable to just communicate like an adult except on occasion with other people.  That is ...when he's not telling them what they should be doing or lying about what he himself has done.I

He can't wake me up today to tell me what to do.  I have been up since before 4 am.  Went to bed at about 6 pm.  Almost fell asleep coming home from my therapist.  Truly, I was nodding off.  So I made dinner immediately when I got home and also took my clothes off the line.  That was all I could manage.  Will do the rest today.  See?  When I get awaken-especially without enough sleep- I am walking through my day halfway awake.

I made the coffee and walked Maggie around the block.  I guess that was the wrong thing to do-according to the "lord and master" of the world-as he needed a stool sample to bring to the vet.  Well she pooped twice for me.  I picked up the one and threw it in the trash-in a bag-and left the other one as it was at the corner house that is abandoned and has very tall grass.  He's like...we can pick that up to take to the vet.  Hm.  I told him to just take the one that's already in the bag, in the trash cart.  It was so funny when I let Maggie out of her kennel.  She ran to her dish to look for food as I ran to the leash to take her outside.  Ha!  I win!

I may just start going to bed at 6pm every evening.  There is one benifit that I really appreciate.  It is 63 degrees out!!!!  Will be in the upper 80's again today so I am definetly enjoying this.

I need to thank all of you that commented on the post about me being nobody's anything.  They meant so much to me.  I don't know if you can understand the depth of my gratitude.  Filled me with teary-eyed JOY!

OK.  I know I didn't spell everything correctly but when I hit spell-check, it gave me the message that spell-check isn't working correctly and to try again, which I did.  Still no response.  Feel free to take out your red pencil, cross out the wrong words and send it back to me.  I will try to correct my errors.
