Able to post. Yippee!

I am at my daughter's and therefore able to blog.  Going home tonight. Darn.  She works tomorrow and I have respiratory rehab.  (exercise for an hour.)  I want to wish a Happy Mother's Day to those who have children.
And to those who don't who often mother other children or husbands or friends. It's about loving, caring, worrying and comforting.

I have begun a new and interesting thing.  I am starting to get anxiety when ever I have to go somewhere.  Not Agoraphobia - I've had that before.  It's more like well......we have 2 weddings, a house warming and a 5 day trip to Georgia coming up and the anxiety is kicking in.  It is not about driving.  I have no anxiety about doctor or dentist appts.  So what's deal?  Makes no sense to me.

I miss all of you.  Hopefully one day soon my husband will get someone in to fix our computer - which I really don't care about - but get my WI-FI hooked up correctly.  Then I can use my laptop to blog.  Yes I know who to call and stuff but I do not have control of the money so.....
But I may just have someone come in when the Hunter is out drinking hunting or fishing for a few days.  You guys know I require very little. I am not high maintanence.  It takes very little to please me.  I am easy.  Well yeah....you all probably know about the "easy" part.  Ha!

Love and Kisses to all of you.  Know that when I can, I will get back to reading and commenting.

And Happy Mother's Day to my mom who passed away at the age of 43.

I must also acknowledge my dad who was both my mother and my father since I was 17 until his death in 2004.  I have been very blessed.

Colder Than a Witch's Tit!

Hey!  Don't blame me.  That was my mom's saying!
Almost 50 degrees today and tomorrow a high of 19?  Is that even possible?  Right now it's raining and should turn to just a bit of snow so tomorrow morning will probably be a fun drive.  Fortunately, my appt. with my therapist isn't until 2pm and the roads should be salted by then.

Am trying to upload a picture and as per usual......I can't find it.  Son John and family went up in the mountains where there was snow.  The kids hadn't seen snow in a few years and it was Storm and Tebow's first snow.  Fun.  He sent me pictures and they are lost in space along with what's left of my mind.

Here's a fun fact!  Ever morning -and I do mean every - the minute I awake, I am struck with a wave of anxiety.  It's morning.  I have to face another day.  I don't know why this is.  As I said...it is anxiety, not depression.  And once I have been up and had my Xanax I am usually fine.  I just don't get it.  I dread making dinner.  I hate it!  And it's no big deal really.  I have been making meals since I was 16 - 17.  Maybe I can work out a deal with Hunter.  Hey!  I can hear you guys laughing!  He loves to cook.  And even though he uses a trillion dishes and makes a huge mess....I don't mind cleaning it up.  What say I double it up to 2 blow jobs a day?  Sorry.  I can't really control my mind and so it stands to reason that my mouth should slip up now and again.

Dentist Thursday.  Have a crown I lost last year about this time that he kind fixed. He said it was a temporary fix that would last about a year or two.  Well, it's hurting, which it shouldn't be since it has had a root canal.  I need to have him again just put a band aid on it, so to speak, so that I can go on vacation.  Then once I get back....I guess I will need to have it pulled and get a bridge?  That involves grinding down both teeth on either side to be able to have something for the bridge to attach to.  Good thing my dentist is a hunk, though I think he is a bit messed up like me.  He is a very good dentist though.

Speaking of anxiety......I am having some about our trip but more so about staying at my daughter's house to watch the kids for about 4 days.  And there is absolutely no reason to feel that way.  My anxiety is so fucking random.  I know there are things people have anxiety about.  And I get that.  But me?  Nope.  Nothing normal here.  Look away.

Will try one more time to insert a picture.  Please ignore all the swearing and yelling.

Oh well.  They will show up here when you and I least expect it.  Something to look forward to, right?

See Ya!

so. how many Xanax can I take and still drive?

Why am I feeling this way?  I am going to pick-up my grand daughter Meadow today and for some reason I am in high anxiety mode.  WTF!  I actually like the drive out there.  Meadow is totally accepting and easy going like me.  I am going to cut her hair.  That's no big deal.  I still cut hair.  I am going to call to see how much it costs to get the ends dyed pink or purple.  (yeah, I got mom's approval.)   We will watch tv and eat and play games and stuff.
I know it will be fun.  I truly know that.  Wish somebody could fix me.

We did get some snow.  Possible and inch.  The neighbor shoveled my driveway, which wasn't necessary but I am grateful none-the-less.

I watched the movie 28 Days with Sandra Bullock.  It's about rehad.  I want to be her.  To have those kind of friends.  I want to have that enlightenment   The contentment and happiness that comes from accomplishing something.  To have the strength to overcome my issues.  I know it isn't easy.  But I want that strength.  I want to be proud of myself.  To "wake up" and see the beauty in our  world through clear eyes.

I am sure my next post will be full of the joy of my visit with Meadow.  But I just had to put my feelings into words.

Thanks for listening.  Peace.

Head rush

My thoughts as soon as I wake up.  First thought or actually feeling is the rush of anxiety that comes over me before I even get out of bed.  Facing the day ahead.  And there is nothing to fear.  Then a brief period of thinking about being dead rather than trying to live.  Easier.  My life is actually quite easy.  I do nothing.  Then I feel worthless.  Then I tell myself to get my ass in gear.  My mind says it will work.  My ass says...just wait another day.  You have time to do all the shit you should be doing.  Then the anxiety of not doing it.  I know all the things I need to do, none of these is at all difficult.  I just need to quit smoking and eating and I will be up and about doing all this stuff.  The stuff being washing down every surface of my home.  Rinse and repeat.  The next day and the next and over and over until it becomes a habit much like brushing my teeth, though I am a bit of a slacker there.  So.....that's life?

I will throw on some clothes which sadly involves wearing a bra.  And shoes.  I will get gas and cigs and then to the grocery store for a few things I need and yeah, I will write the check for $30-$40 over so I have some cash.  But to talk myself into doing this I will bribe myself with the reward of going to the thrift store.  I walk around with a cart.  It is a solitary activity.  There is no pressure.  It is as relaxing as a massage.  I am justifying this by telling myself I need to look for a suitcase.  You do know I have all the suitcases I need, right?

You wouldn't want to be married to me.  I am no longer a good wife.  I am not really needed as a mother and my grandkids are too old to want to cuddle and play.  My grandkids in Vegas are young enough but they aren't cuddly as they weren't raised that way.  My DIL is not a hugger.  She may love but there is nothing demonstrative or verbal about that love.  I touch, feel and cry.  Son and DIL do laugh and they are fun to be around.
You would not want to be married to me.  I am only good at sex and that has become a difficult and nearly unnecessary thing in my  old man's husbands life.
I would not be the wife for you because I have feelings.  I only require minimal concern and a few truly kind and selfless gestures.  I don't want to be lied to.  I can accept a multitude of things but I need to hear them from my husband.  I would want a husband to want to care for me.  To listen.
But the biggest think, the main reason you wouldn't want to be married to me is because I would want to be at the top of your list.  The very top.  If the train was coming and you could save only one person of many, I would want to be the first one you save.  The first one you need to save because you can't dream of living without me.

Norman Rockwell much?

At least now I know.

My daughter says that all the thoughts flying rapidly through my head are due to anxiety.  So...apparently I have traded in depression for anxiety.  It makes my head hurt.

I was having a good/interesting dream and wanted to finish it but cramps in my calves woke me up.

68 degrees out.  Tomorrow will be in the 30's.  The trees...they bow to the Royal Winds.

Yesterday was a blast!  I haven't laughed like that since....well I can't remember when.  I had to pull off on the shoulder I was laughing so hard.  It was awesome!

Burned hand between thumb and forefinger pouring hot coffee.  Yes, I ran it under cold water and it is OK now.

You know those candles that have wooden wicks?  They are supposed to crackle like logs in a fireplace.  They are made for those of who only wish they did have a fireplace.  Well,....mine doesn't crackle.  No fair.

The following picture are here due to the fact that I don't know what the hell I am doing.  But then....you all know that about me so......

I'm singing in the rain....

Well, I'm not singing but it is raining.  And I love it.  And I love chocolate and I love shoes and....
It seems we use the word love to describe all things we enjoy.  We use the word too much ..... recklessly.   Shouldn't love be saved for those we truly do love?  Even a, "Love you." to others instead of...well, "Take care."  Or something similar.  We like, want or have things but to say we love them it makes the word love a bit meaningless.

I am a mess in the mornings.  Used to be that I was just tired.  Then I didn't want to face the day and now it has turned into waking up feeling anxiety.  I don't get it.  I generally don't get this living thing.  I don't understand the purpose.  Get up.  Work.  Clean house.  Make meals.  Watch a bit of TV.  Shower.  Go to bed and do it all over again.  For what?  The sad part is that I am a Christian.  And I know my purpose and why I should feel joy and be a servant to others.  I am so lucky that God loves and forgives me.  He knows my heart.  But I do not feel deserving.  Not even a little.  I am a Christian but I am a bad one.  Not because of what I do but because of what I fail to do.  When my 2nd husband died....I thought it so unfair.  It should have been me.  He was the sweetest guy.  He did alot and cared for everyone.  He lived his life fully and joyfully.  I have been given this life by God and I have wasted it.

Hunter called and told me that Maggie love feathers.  And geese.  They taste good.  Wonder if she will learn to retrieve those geese or if she will stop midway back to eat a portion of them.  I miss her.  And yeah.  I miss Hunter too.  I am alone but then while he is here I feel lonely alot also.  How long would I have to live alone to get my shit together?  I honestly don't think I ever would.  I can envision a life of isolation.  Just dumping things here and there.  Dreading having to go out to buy coffee or milk.

I want to thank you for your comments and prayers.  I have you all and I am grateful.  Truly.
bj -I can burn candles now because Hunter is gone.  And believe me....I am burning the hell out of them.  Right now I am burning one that is called - Carrot Cake.  Yum-o!

Peace.

Saying Goodbye.

Went to dinner with friends in Aurora, Illinois.  Then to a play their grand daughter was in.  I love plays so much.  I get totally caught up in them.  This one was "Foot Loose."  It was all I could do not to get up and dance. Really!

Will be going out to  see my son and his family tonight to take them to dinner.  They are leaving tomorrow to go back to Las Vegas.   Grandson Cain is going with them so that Jennifer doesn't have to drive the whole way by herself.  Cain recently got his license and I hope he does OK.  Please pray they have a safe trip home.  Cain will fly home.  I would like to go with them and help drive but I have several appts. and more so, my anxiety has reared it's ugly head for the last week or so.  I honestly can't say why.  My son and daughter have been on the outs for a few years now.  They talked for about 45 minutes yesterday regarding Cain's going to Vegas.  I am thrilled for that.  I have told them many times that at some point they will have only each other although they will always have their spouses and kids.  John and Jennifer will be taking Cain to church with them Saturday night.  They really want my daughter's family to embrace Christ.  Pray that they do.  It  doesn't take away problems but it will help them deal with them.  They will know to lay their burdens at the foot of the cross.  And more importantly...they will get to spend eternity in Heaven.

Not much has been going on here with me.  I hate that I am always so tired.  I hate that I feel I don't have the energy to do the things I want and need to do around the house.  It is often just a matter of getting off my lazy ass to begin and more often that not, I start getting a kind of momentum.  Then I keep going.

Heat.  Don't want to eat. When I do, the food doesn't stay with me very long.  Can't weigh myself cuz Hunter threw the scale out.  I wish we still had it.  It weighs us at 30#s less than we really are.  Then I can pretend that is my true weight.  Oh...I do alot of pretending.  Facing reality is a bit too difficult at times.

Hunter took Maggie to the farm with him this morning.  I tried to talk him out of it.  When he got home....he let her out of the car to pee and she didn't.  Then the little fucke puppy instantly peed in the house.

High of 100 degrees again.  I am sure they will cancel Meadow's ball game.  Is heat really different in dry climates?  People say it is and I tend to believe them.  I'll find out when I visit Vegas this coming June.

Wishing you all peace.

Hope you are all well and able to escape the heat.

The Pit and the Pendulum

This will be a long post so either get your pj's on, knowing you will fall asleep reading it or pass this post up or......pour yourself a drink and keep the bottle nearby.

I think I should go off the synthyroid because it seems to have cured my depression and so now I get angry instead.  I actually want to hit a wall and throw and break everything!  I am calm but really, really pissed off.  And as you know.....I am a lover, not a fighter.  So many things to talk about.  I am so mad that I am surprised I am not pounding the keyboard here.  Then again, I direct the anger only to whom it should be directed at.  I do not take it out on others.

So it started out to be a pretty good day.  Hunter told me that tomorrow he is going out to "the farm".  Not ours.  To plant and water.  He also said he was going to clean out the garage.  He has done this many times before.  What this entails is....he takes alot of shit out and then puts it all back.  I said, "Oh, are you going to make room for the garage sale stuff?"  He said, " I'm going through and throwing out all the stuff..  Most of it's Daves old stuff. "  I made a comment about Dave's shit.  Dave was my late husband.  I said yeah, we need to get rid of all his shit.  Sarcasm but then he is too dumb to know it.  He said something else but he hates anything that belonged to Dave including the antiques.  Yeah, the good quality stuff.  Asshole!  That's my stuff now.  He was my husband.  He died and what was his was mine.  Yeah, we had a funny marriage like that.  (Remember this for later.)  Can you recall that we are leaving on a 6 hour trip tomorrow?  And he's going to the farm and cleaning out the garage.  Idiot.  No problem though.  He is making me drive the whole way and back even though he's said my driving makes him nervous because I don't drive fast enough.  I usually go about 7 over the speed limit unless I am passing. Then I'll go 10-20 over.  Whatever it takes.  I use cruise control.  Maybe you can help me with something.  You know how he always falls into a dead sleep the minute I take the wheel?  How can he do that if I am such a terrible driver?  See, he always get into a really bad mood whenever we are going somewhere-my therapist says he suffers from anxiety- and it usually only lasts until we are packed and about a mile from home.  I can already envision how mad he will be that we won't get there in time.  He will get involved in the farm and or the garage stuff and then expect me to drive 90 miles and hour.  I can easily do that you know.  I suppose I am due to get a ticket.  I have only gotten one in my lifetime.  I won't explain but I would do the same thing over again the same way.

Garage sale?  He asked what I needed done.  I told him and now he's changed his mind about which tables to get rid of.  He wants to keep the old one that was his grandmothers.  I respect that but his decision is completely different from what he said before.  And he wants to put it in our bedroom-with the chairs that belong to it-and put in place of the antique ironing table that has his stuff on it and also our main lamp for that room.  I will keep the table and use it downstairs.  So it ends up that we will only be getting rid of one table.  Then I notice a bunch of plaster pebbles and crap on top of the tote that I had stickers and other garage sale stuff on.  I asked him about it today.  He said, "Oh, that must have been from when I took down the plastic and the wood I put up there when I removed the chimney."  Remember when he took down an interior chimney for no reason leaving that hole in the floor/ceiling depending on what level you are on.  He had also thrown on of his deer skulls in the back of my car leaving bone shards and fragments all over everything in there including a beautiful throw I keep in there for warmth just in case.  No apology.  Apparently the word is not in his vocabulary.  I would fucking die if he ever uttered that word.

Lets just skip through here to the drive home from the ballgame.  Somehow we got to talking about death and money and our wills.  Now his son-the one who doesn't visit or call unless he needs something-not only is in charge of all the money and finances which could come into play if Hunter becomes incapacitated.  But he is co-executor of his will.  How does that work?  I'm sure I will die first and will probably change my will too or my piano, antiques and everything else belonging to me will be tossed in a dumpster.  Wonder if it is just coincidence that his real name rhymes with fuck?..!  He discusses all this like it should make sense to me. REALLY?  Ya think?

And yup...still the same day....he says he and Don are going to be rebuilding and painting the porch out front.  And possibly putting up the walls of the closet upstairs in the computer room.  He tore it down -for no reason- and is putting it back up exactly the same way it was this weekend.  Stupid, stupid man.  He had bought bi-fold doors for it even though I wanted to hang a curtain rod about 5" higher and about 10" wider than the closet opening and have a grommeted curtain covering it. Would work out perfectly.  Oh, no.  That wouldn't do at all.  He says he wants it to be left open.  Like.....nothing covering the front of the closet ?  Am I the only one who doesn't get that?  I repeated that I'd like to put a curtain up to keep any dust out.  He said I'd just have to keep the house clean.  Remember the plaster mess?  Yeah, that's gonna work.  And I am also to paint the inside of the closet before they do that.  Think I would be able to stay awake 24/7, and move all the heavy stuff and do everything plus whatever other jobs he tells me to do?

I am so sick of it.  Except that I don't feel sick to my stomach or depressed or any of my usual feelings.  I AM JUST SO PISSED!!!!!  I am also mad at myself for staying.  Why do I always love the wrong people?  Perhaps I will tell him to put me through college -so I can get a good paying job so I can afford to leave him which I wouldn't tell him, of course.

Oh.  And this is too funny.  He says it is all because of the time I ran off  "with your boyfriend or whatever and I didn't know where you were and you took all the money out of our tax account."  Ok.  It was my paycheck.  All my money went into a savings account.  It's not like I could have or spend any of it.  I did not take any of our money which again is the wrong phrasing as you know that everything that is mine is his and everything that is ours is his -well ok, there is no "our", in fact there is no "us" or "we" and everything that is his is his.  I corrected him of this business of my having "left him."  He kicked me out!  I gave him my cell phone, my credit card and the insurance cards since he is the one who carries the insurance.  I also left him all the cash and coin I had.  Geez.  There must have been at least $5 or $6 there.  He was gone long enough that when he got home from work, I was already gone.  Why would he care where I was?  He didn't want me.  So......  I warned my son about the situation so he wouldn't be worried.  Then I had a contact that I was able to send information to so she could let my friend know that I was ok.  No one knew where I was.  Can I just tell you that was probably the most peace I have felt in a long time.?  I was gone about 5 days.  While I was gone I did alot of praying and just breathing freely.  God told me to go home so I did.  (I had been trying to figure out what to do with my life.  What to do about my marriage.)  He never said a word.  I found out that while I was gone he called everybody and no one could tell him where I was because as I said, no one knew.  He was livid and said he was going to put out an APB or whatever on me.  Report me as missing.  He was angry, not concerned.  Finally when he was giving me a list of things he and or I needed to do,.......about 7th on the list was, "Oh yeah.  And we need to figure out what we are going to do about our marriage".  Mind you, this was several days later and the other "chores"  are more important than our marriage?

Whew!!!!  Thanks guys.  I needed that.  Keep your eyes peeled for an associated press release about a woman who killed her husband and that she won't be serving any jail time because he deserved it!
