Talk about Blood!

Maggie is super low key today.  She is bleeding alot more from her mouth.  It is either a broken tooth or a teething thing-which I doubt.  Hunter will call the vet as soon as they open tomorrow or he may just take her there.  She isn't hemorrhaging or anything but somehow my legs were all covered and the floors.  I clean it and there it is again.  But I am really, really concerned because she is so lethargic.  Black Labs run around like hell even if their legs are cut off!  I'm sure I will feel much better once I  know what's going on.  Hunter will be taking her hunting with him.  Are you kidding?  She is like an extra appendage.  And I like that he has love that he can accept.

I have a question for you.  I am not preaching nor am I looking for discourse or haters or people who judge.  This is just a curiosity on my part.  No one has to answer unless they choose.  I am a Christian and so.....I know my own deal.
Again, I am not looking to preach or convert or have anyone get into a "discussion" about this.  K?  I am not asking what your religion is or anything else but....
My question is for non-Christians.
I am curious to know what you believe about the afterlife.  What do you think happens after you die?

Just imagine what it will be like for me to be in control of the TV!  I am so excited!  Hunter watches the only one we have and it is always weird shit.  Even when he agrees to let me watch a certain hour long show....he is so noisy that it drives me crazy.  I have taken to holding the remote (no, not caressing it like a lover as he does)  and blasting the volume whenever he is making any noise.  The only voice he had is his outside voice.  Anyway....JOY!

Hi middle child,

I hope that Maggie is okay and that the vet will give an encouraging diagnosis of the situation. I wouldn't think it a good idea to take Maggie out hunting. I would think Maggie may need some resting time.

I am not of any religion. I do have my own spirituality. I think that when you die, you come back to this dimension as another being that is part of your entire soul. Each life, a learning experience until we reach the ultimate and find ourselves in the reality that we have found to be our final destination. I could go all complicated and say that we create our own reality and perceive this dimension in our own particular way.

When you are watching TV, any chance of getting headphones that let you hear the sound without disturbance?

I hope it wasn't some kind of "blow" Maggie received that is behind her LUMP and mouth bleeding. sigh :0(

Okay...you asked for it!
I believe that Hell is right here on earth and Heaven is when you are dead and FEEL NOTHING.

I really hope that Maggie is okay Middle Child. It doesn't sound good but hopefully it's nothing that's overly bad or anything.

As for when it comes to death I just believe there's blankness. Maybe I do become somebody else but I have no memory of it so does it really matter if I'm somebody else after I die. I could have been lives and lives before this but if I don't know I was then there's no real point. I don't know it's hard to explain, it's definitely a thought provoking question for sure.

I do hope Maggie is OK, and that wherever Hunter goes, there will be a vet in the area, just in case she has more problems.

As a Christian, I don't have much time for Heaven or Hell.

I really hope Maggie is okay. Let us know what the vet says!

I used to not believe in Heaven or Hell. But then it all changed for me one day.

Now, I believe hell is right here on Earth... all the evil comes from the people who make bad choices (like to kill or to be abusive) and Heaven is a real place you go to that is truly HOME, with God and everything. You feel at peace and are useful and loved. I've learned that depression could sometimes come from being homesick for that Heaven place. I have lots to say about this subject but I don't want to be on a soap box with this either so I hope that answered your question somewhat.

Have you found out what is wrong with Maggie yet? I hope she's ok. I am a Christian and can only pray that I go to Heaven when I die, because I do believe in Heaven. Have fun with the remote! laurie

I'm a Pagan and my personal belief is that we rejoin the universal consciousness, a part of the whole.

I have a question for you and I hope you don't take this as confrontational. I honestly would like to know. And if you don't want to answer, obviously, don't. But why? Why the hell are you spending your life with this person? Life is limited, precious and short. Your posts sound so despondent. Why would you choose to life your life with a person like Hunter?
