Graphic/Gross Picture.....

This is who you are praying for.  My son, John Lauretta.  This photo was taken 3 hours ago.  He can't eat or drink because once they locate an oral surgeon, he will be in surgery having his tooth/teeth removed.  One has grown into the cheek bone so I am not sure what they'll do about that.  The infection is on the side of his face where he had his brain surgery.  The closed eye is the one that has absolutely no vision in, not even light.  But at least he was able to open it a bit though it made no difference as he still couldn't see.  The open eye has only about 1/3 of the vision it should have.  The vision things are from his surgery about 3 years ago.  His kids are already in therapy because they both are afraid they will be "sick" like their parents.  John with the brain thing and Jenn with her dysautonomia and fibromialgia.  (falling down stairs from passing out, passing out in shower etc. and seizures.  I could go on and on.)
Then there's Dawn with this pile of crap about the house that she has to deal with.  I don't think she has any recourse yet no one has contacted her so....she will see a lawyer about all this on Saturday.  Oh- and did I mention that their dad-my first husband-is talking about suicide again?  He has alot of physical ailments and they will probably lose their house......
I wish these things were happening  to me rather than them.  They have gone through waaaay to much in their young lives.  Truly.
The ex thinks it's his fault.  Dawn says God hates her and John.....he's pretty stoic.  He has become a Christian and that is the best thing I could have hoped for.  God has gotten him through alot of things.  But he questions God's purpose in all this-all their health problems.    And I sometimes search myself trying to think if I did something wrong that my family should end up like this.  We had a normal life, the 4 of us.  Bills paid, house, healthy kids, jobs etc.  (other than my ex cheating on me - more than once.)

ARE WE HAVING FUN YET?

Damn, seems like your son and daughter-in-law have been served one too many shit sandwiches lately! I feel so bad for their children...I will include John in my prayers tonight.

Stay strong mama.

I wish I could give you a hug right now. There's too much going on. Just stay strong. I'm sure your son's surgery will go well.

Don't think you did something wrong. Sometimes, life throws us shit. We just have to get past it and everything will be fine again.

*hugs*

This is not Gods handiwork it's Satans. Easy to say, but hard to understand. I won't offer any other platitudes, but I'll pray.

I often wonder the same thing....what did I do so wrong. You did nothing, I have done nothing! Yes, that's hard to accept....but in out heart of hearts, WE KNOW IT DEEP DOWN!
There is no ryhmme or reason for these things and GOOD PEOPLE do die young. There is no such thing as fairness in how much we get thrown at us. You my friend have way too much. It's one thing when it is US and our body and quite another when it involves our loved ones.
I believe in God, but I am not religious. If my prayers for your son will help....YOU HAVE THEM.
God Bless your son, his family and you. My thoughts and prayers go out to you all. Take care m/f. (((hugs)))Pat
