Foreclosure. And yet I think the note was fake. I haven't seen it yet but I will go to my daughter's tomorrow early to use the computer at the library. No one's fault but there own except......they did try to seek help with the banks and mortgage companies. Banks don't give a fuck. And her husband will be gone another 2 weeks at work. He just started this job-after being unemployed for about 3 years. So...aside from talking to him on the phone, she will have to deal with this on her own. What she got was a note taped to the door stating that Fanny Mae (however they spell it) now owns the home. I would have gone out there-Cain had called me-but I wouldnt make it there before she would be home from work. So I called her dad as he lives nearby and explained a bit and he went out there. I have talked to Dawn and got her calmed down. We will look for a lawyer who deals with this shit and also bankruptcy if it comes to that. We need to see if there is a consult fee and how much it will be. Here's the weird part. The note looked like a photocopy of a photo copy and also did not reference any social security #s or parcel #s. The mailn reference being a hand written note about contacting a particular real estate and alot of "promises" to help them. Real estate guy gave them all these options, etc.
What really sucks is the timing. They now have enough money to be able to catch up on their bills. To be able to have a life.
It's tomorrow. I am going out to Dawn's. I also returned a call we got in the middleof the night. My daughter in law called to say that my son is in the hospital with celulitis from and infec tooth. He's the one with the brain tumor. They transfered him to another hospital. Called in an ENT. Sorry this is so messy but my hands are shaking.
