Colder Than a Witch's Tit!

Hey!  Don't blame me.  That was my mom's saying!
Almost 50 degrees today and tomorrow a high of 19?  Is that even possible?  Right now it's raining and should turn to just a bit of snow so tomorrow morning will probably be a fun drive.  Fortunately, my appt. with my therapist isn't until 2pm and the roads should be salted by then.

Am trying to upload a picture and as per usual......I can't find it.  Son John and family went up in the mountains where there was snow.  The kids hadn't seen snow in a few years and it was Storm and Tebow's first snow.  Fun.  He sent me pictures and they are lost in space along with what's left of my mind.

Here's a fun fact!  Ever morning -and I do mean every - the minute I awake, I am struck with a wave of anxiety.  It's morning.  I have to face another day.  I don't know why this is.  As I said...it is anxiety, not depression.  And once I have been up and had my Xanax I am usually fine.  I just don't get it.  I dread making dinner.  I hate it!  And it's no big deal really.  I have been making meals since I was 16 - 17.  Maybe I can work out a deal with Hunter.  Hey!  I can hear you guys laughing!  He loves to cook.  And even though he uses a trillion dishes and makes a huge mess....I don't mind cleaning it up.  What say I double it up to 2 blow jobs a day?  Sorry.  I can't really control my mind and so it stands to reason that my mouth should slip up now and again.

Dentist Thursday.  Have a crown I lost last year about this time that he kind fixed. He said it was a temporary fix that would last about a year or two.  Well, it's hurting, which it shouldn't be since it has had a root canal.  I need to have him again just put a band aid on it, so to speak, so that I can go on vacation.  Then once I get back....I guess I will need to have it pulled and get a bridge?  That involves grinding down both teeth on either side to be able to have something for the bridge to attach to.  Good thing my dentist is a hunk, though I think he is a bit messed up like me.  He is a very good dentist though.

Speaking of anxiety......I am having some about our trip but more so about staying at my daughter's house to watch the kids for about 4 days.  And there is absolutely no reason to feel that way.  My anxiety is so fucking random.  I know there are things people have anxiety about.  And I get that.  But me?  Nope.  Nothing normal here.  Look away.

Will try one more time to insert a picture.  Please ignore all the swearing and yelling.

Oh well.  They will show up here when you and I least expect it.  Something to look forward to, right?

See Ya!

Indian reservation.

Will probably go to the Indian reservation to get cheap cigs.  We are going to Costco today.  I am waiting for a prescription to be called in to Walgreens.  John and Jennifer are helping out at Cami's school and should be home soon.  Josh is home sick.

The days here are very busy and seem to pass quickly.  It's morning and then BOOM, it's night.  We went to Red Rock conservation area.  The mountains are beautiful!  Have seen dust devils and tumble weeds.  So? For me they are something new and therefor exciting.  I am easily pleased.  Was able to get the kids Christmas gifts.  They are large and not anything I could really ship.  So...yay!  Have gone out to eat a few times.  Yum-o!  Were hoping to go to Fire Mountain but it was too late in the day.  Watched Josh's football game on Saturday then ran to church to hear Gabby (can't remember her last name) speak at church.  She won the gold medal in gymnastics at the Olympics.  Love this church.

Still peaceful-though often loud with the dogs and kids-and relaxing here.  Yesterday...not so much.  John and Jenn had a big argument with Mike and Shelly-Jenn's sister.  They all live together and the house is large so that isn't a problem.  It all started with John and Jenn wanting to get down the Christmas deckies.  Mike blew a gasket.  Can you say 'Roid Rage?  Everyone yelling and swearing - not a common occurrence here.  John said he almost got out a knife and stabbed Mike cuz Mike was all up in his face.  Mike is a "body builder" and a bully.  It ended with John and Jenn staying up in their room and telling the kids to come up there if /when they came in the house.  Jenn was already looking for houses on-line.  I told her to wait a week.  She and Shelly talked later that night and there is an uneasy truce for now.  I know things will go back to normal soon.

In my adult life there are so many things occurring that I can hardly believe.  I was raised in a calm-though alcoholic-home.  Not perfect but none of this drama.  Each year brings something new.

Well John and Jenn are on their way home and then Jenn and I will be going out for awhile so I will close for now.  Peace.

No deer for the Hunter.

I hadn't heard from Hunter in almost a week.  Usually he calls me about 3 times a week when I am home and he is gone.  Before I left for Vegas....he called me every couple of days.  I finally got ahold of him.  All is good so, yay!  My DIL's sister made Eggs Benedict for breakfast.  Yummo!  My favorite.

Christmas decorating has been put off  'till this coming weekend.  We were just too busy.  Since I was baptised, my neck stopped hurting.  I am guessing that leaning back into the water was just the thing I needed.  I am  smoking at least 1/3rd less cigs here.  There are people to do things with.  And so much less stress.  At home, 5 out of 7 days I wake up and anxiety-almost a panic-sets in even before I get out of bed.  Since I have been here-6 days-I have only had one such moment and it was mild.

Tomorrow I will get up early and go with John and Jenn to drop off the kids at school and then to my son's Endocrinologist appt. He was there and had his blood drawn but they never called with the results-which they had-but now they need him to come in to get his prescription for Testosterone.  He has been out of it for a month and a half.  It is very important he has that medication.  He takes several meds. because of his tumor, it's location and pituitary function.

There are three dogs I want to take home with me.  2 are Mastiffs and one is a teacup Chihuaua.  I wish.  They love me.

You can see all the lights of the strip from almost any dirrection we drive.  And the mountains.  So beautiful!!!!!  It is about 70 degrees almost every day.  I could soooo see living here.  But then, I haven't experienced a sizzling summer.

Hope you are all well and just wanted to tell you that I am happy every day.

Spell Check isn't working so please ignore any spelling errors.  I can't spell to save my life.
