One for the money

We went and saw the movie.  I read the Stephanie Plum series by Janet Evonovich.  Yeah, the books are a fast read and perhaps dorky but I love them.  Some phrase actually make me laugh our loud!  I was prepared to be disappointed, not because I am a pessimist but because my imagination fits me better than anyone else's.  It was a really good movie and now I hope they make more of them.  Hunter liked it too.  I could have done without all the popcorn we ate.  Ug.  Funny, you spend $9.00 for two ticket and then about $20.00 on snacks.  Remember drive-ins?  My mom used to pop up a bunch of popcorn and put it in a big brown grocery bag that we took with us.  I miss drive-ins.
Dark and cold today.  A good day to sleep.  If fact Hunter is asleep at the kitchen table even as we speak.  I got alot accomplished today and as soon as my last load of laundry is done, I may just take a nap myself.  That's all folks!

I have read all the Evanovich books, and they are corny but a fun read. Though I could jerk a knot in Stephanie's nickers sometimes.

Glad you got out and had some fun! :)

There's a drive-in movie theater about 40 miles from us. They're only open in warmer weather. We need to pack up the kids and head down there this summer.

I adore naps! One of my favorite things to do. I'm not great at them, but I practice often!

Fascinating, isn't it; the price of the tickets vs the price of the "meal." Let's hear it for taking your own popcorn.

I hope you managed to have that nap. And I so no what you mean about drive-ins. I miss them also. Never actually watched a movie at the drive-in, but hey, that's another story :)
Wishing you a peaceful weekend.
