Thy will be done.

Belle (will be 9 in October) does have cancer in her liver. She has about 3 - 6  months to live.  She seems pretty fine right now, you'd never know it.  I will not let her suffer, even for a moment.  I will know when the time comes and I will have her put down.  I am pretty sure The Hunter is on the same page.

On a brighter note...I am going to Cain's ballgame tomorrow.  And brighter still...I am going to see my son and his family in vegas and I am taking my grandson Nathan (almost 15) with me!!

Well, apparently I have to go to bed now.  The Hunter is going back into his control freak mode.  He's the freak and I am the one he thinks he can control.

I know you will do the right thing at the right time. Will you be able to do the same thing for the Hunter? Put him down whether he wants it or not? Seriously, sorry about your dog. They are much better than humans.

I'm with Coffey...the Hunter sounds like he could benefit from a visit to the vet sometimes. And I know how much it sucks and hurts to have your furry loveball be sick and be heading toward the rainbow bridge...I feel for you.

If you are on your way to bed (and don't want to be), obviously he is in control. Just sayin'.

I'm so sorry about Belle. If the Hunter goes into denial mode when the time comes, KICK HIS SELFISH ASS!

I'm sorry about your dog. I'm sure you will be able to know when your Belle doesn't have quality of life anymore. I have an eldery dog that has some liver issues and possible cushings. One good thing is less protien for the liver if the dog is having problems breaking it down. Maybe, a little special diet might help Belle during her time and make her comfortable. Don't know. I hope you have fun in Vegas as you deserve a good time and to have fun.

My parents put their cat to sleep about a year-and-a-half ago, and it was really tough for them. Still, it was for the best.

And if the Hunter gets to be too controlling, give him a good nutsack whomping!

Congrats on the trip to Vegas! I hope you have lots of fun, and get some time to think about the Hunter. Maybe he needs to go hunting someplace else. But I'm glad you get some time away. : )
