Grass. Divorce. Porn.

I am going to mow the rain off the blades of grass.
Why are our grandparents' parents called greatgrandparents?  How do we know if they were great?
Kind of cool that 6 of the 20 houses on our block (10 houses on each side) are doing construction projects.
Why would I be selling a new $218.00 King size duvet cover set (includes shams and bed skirt) for $35.00 at my garage sale?  Opps!  I'm not!  I just found the comforter I bought it for.  I really need to get stuff boxed up for the sale though.  I think I will just make everything $1.00.  All items not sold by the second day of sale by noon, will be free.  Anything left will be donated!
Took a shower so I could sweat some more.  I think no matter when, no matter where we live,.. we have all had crappy weather 365 days a year.  BTW - if you ever have nice weather....I don't want to hear about it.
Warning!!!  Computers can cause divorce.  No.  I am not talking about on line affairs or porn.  A little of the latter can go a looong way.  It's just when Hunter tries to do e-mail, he always needs my help.  I know I am an idiot savant but I am willing to admit it and am always happy for help or a chance to learn something new.  Him?  He asks for help but won't listen. Then he gets mad.  Bah.  If I had the doors back on the computer room, I'd put on locks.
Hunter is already talking (to his 'little' friends) about getting another dog.  Sure I would like another dog but Belle's water dish isn't even dry!!!  And really, is it narcissistic of me to think that I should be included in the search for Hunter's next life partner?
Enough.  Let him play at the game of life.  He can play by hs own rules. Me?  I don't really "play" games.  I am fair and honest.  I care.  What you see is what you get.  I do like to play cards and baseball and many other things but,....Hey.  I wasn't even talking about that.
Ok  that's about it or rather, it's getting late.  Sleep tight.  Don't let the bed bugs bite!

It's a good idea to get another dog. But you need to be involved with the choice. And I thing you should wet-vac the rain off the grass.

I hear you on the computer/divorce thing! My hubby has been using a computer much longer than I have, yet he always comes to me with questions. I find myself explaining the same things, over and over. I keep trying to get him to take notes. No luck.

I think he should wait a little longer for a dog. Let the whole healing process happen. But then, he won't listen to me. :)

Garage sales. So, much, fun. NOT

I waited three years between Sabby and Moo and I am glad I waited. When we first got Moo, I kept comparing her cat behaviour to Sabby and took the longest time to see her personality for what it was. I am all for waiting because I wasn't ready for Moo until we got her that three years later. I found it still hurt when I thought about Sabby. Now I have been able to let him go and embrace Moo with my whole heart. I wouldn't have been able to do that before. Plus if you don't feel ready, you're not ready, it's plain and simple!

Ooooh, I feel for you - garage sales are NO fun at all!

As for getting a new pooch, I'm all for it! I've usually had two dogs - and it was usually to do with my older dog getting sick and slowing down - so I got a puppy, and I swear, I got an extra year out of my older dog. When the older dog passed, after a while I got another dog to keep the one left company. Now, I've actually got a dog and a cat - they get along (amazingly enough!). I definitely think you should have a say so in getting the new pooch - it shouldn't be the hunter's next life partner - that's supposed to be YOU, mama!! If he doesn't listen to you, then put HIM in the next garage sale you have!! (you may just have to mark him down or donate him to goodwill though! lol)

I love how you just lay it out there. I give you so much credit, not everyone is this direct. I find people like you are so much easier to be with.
