Church. A phone call. A nap. Grilled burgers and BOOM, it's bedtime!

Seems like it was a long day but if you break it down, it actually went quickly. I did some updates here so it is later than I think but since we took a 3 hour nap, I am not tired and will prob. stay up late. Looks like another week of rain. Makes it hard to know when to try to see one of the kids ballgames. It's a 45 min. drive so we like to go when there is zero chance of rain. Happy Father's day to all you dad's out there. I called my dad's and wished him a Happy Father's day. He died in 2004 but my Susan left his voice on the (her) answering machine so it is cool to get to hear him. Not much else going on and that isn't necessarily bad. Calm. Will read some blogs and watch a bit of tv and it's off to dream land. (And boy-oh-boy, when they ever learn how to record some one's dreams, I can guarantee I will be a cult figure. - see pic above.)

Just this past year, my sister changed phone providers and my Dad's name no longer shows up, when she calls. I miss it. Same number for over 50 years. She had it for 12 years, after they both passed. I found it comforting.

Some days are like that. You get up, and then it is over!

Glad you got to hear his voice....thats something I wish I would have done for my brother...we did but my mom loses everything...so now when people leave me a message I save them;)

We did the same thing with my dad's voice. It's been 7 years now, but it's still comforting to hear his voice.
