Where's my Man?

I am the one who likes to stay up at night and sleep late in the morning. I can see planning to go grocery shopping the following day but would never say, "Let's get up early and go,..." He often asks, "What are your plans for this weekend, what's your agenda?" HUH? Um,..it's Saturday and I,..what? I don't even get that question.

So what I'm asking here is,...where's the calm, easy going guy who gets things done as needed but can relax. The guy who doesn't mind sitting around in PJ's watching TV. The one who can just go through his day, doing what he's s'posed to be doing. The guy who isn't running through his life but rather walking at a pace that lets him enjoy the journey, even stopping along the way to reflect, learn or just observe with interest.

And see, I am not being unreasonable. I am not even asking for the one who will adore me or even put me first on his list. I would be happy to even BE on his list. I don't need a crown or maid or fur coat or cruise. I don't even need roses. The smallest token, that shows he thought of me, would reduce me to tears, simply because it has never happened.

And yes, I know about how the man shows you he loves you by taking out the garbage and keeping gas in your car and blah, blah, blah. I do that as much as he does, if not more.

Not mad today, just a little frustrated. Peace.
