What's with all the weird-o comments from who knows who about who knows what!?!
Is there something I can do to prevent them or is my only choice to delete them.?
I slept 14 hours the night before last. No drugs or drinking involved. And when I say I slept all night...that means I didn't wake up for anything.
I also should mention that I had a good, happy day a couple days ago. That is exceedingly rare for me and I probably should have blogged then.
Will probably go to Home Depot to get plants tomorrow. My neighbor taped a $50 gift certificate to my back door. I went over to his house and was like...."what?"
He said it was to thank me for helping him that one day loading and unloading 2 truckfuls of flag stone. And also helping him set the stone. He's too sweet.

You could turn off anonymous comments, or moderate. Holler if you need help.
Yes, Ms. A is right. Turning off anonymous comments or moderating them can discourage spammers from commenting.

I get these comments often and most of the time my spam filter works out it's spam and doesn't accept it but it's insane how many are on this post, really bizarre stuff. Turning off anonymous comments or moderating is probably the only option Middle Child. I'm glad to hear that you've had a good few days, your neighbour is such a nice guy, what a kind way to show his gratitude!
You've been spammed. This happened to me, once. If you moderate your comments, you can decide which ones go up and which don't.
I am always getting one or two spam comments after each post. I just delete and move on - too many of my real readers use anonymous for me to disable it and i hate having to confirm my comment with the wonky letters- I always get them wrong!

Just popped over from R Kitty's blog. I have my comments on moderation only now, I don't like it because I think it puts people off leaving a comment, but to be honest it's not the spammers I worry about, it's the odd people that find your blog and write nasty comments. No one wants to read that and I like my blog to be a safe place to visit.

The most important thing here is that you had a happy couple of days. Feed of that and yes, it's noted you had a wonderful moment with your neighbour. And yep, I'm sending you happy thoughts.

Well, first off..YOU are very sweet to help your neighbor...and those flagstones are HEAVY. I am really glad he gave you a gift card...and how fun it'll be to pick out 50 bucks worth of pretty plants.
I noticed all those anonymous comments....go to your settings and change the anonymous setting to NO..
Now, why didn't I think about graham crackers and Nutella.? Gonna try it tomorrow...:))

I had to turn on comment moderation because someone or several someones kept leaving a ton of spammy comments with hyperlinks.
I can't imagine that someone has nothing better to do. Seems to take time to leave comments, right?
