Premature Excitation!

Was leaving Target-gift card-and as I rounded the corner to go out.....SNOW!!!!!  Big white fluffy flakes!  Got home and took Maggie out to play for awhile in the backyard.  Big white fluffy flakes!  Came in, got coffee and cigs and went to sit out on my porch and watch it fall and quiet the earth.  It was so...WHAT?  small sparse flakes.   wet.  mixed with rain sort of.  Yeah.  Throw me a crumb and then disappoint me.  Do you understand how weird it is that we have not gotten snow yet in northern Illinois?  And yet Texas gets 10 inches?  What is wrong with this picture?  At least I got the lights and garland down before we got our pretend winter weather.  And I did what Chuck calls, "Poopy Patrol."  Gotta dog?  Then you know what I'm talking about.

Not really feeling up to writing much.  Have been feeling odd physically today.  Not sick but just not right.  I could go to sleep but it's kinda like I want to read a few posts to take my mind off of it.  If I go to bed right now...I will have all these medical scenarios going through my head like bad commercials.

Hope you are all well.

My part of Texas wouldn't know what to do with 10 inches of snow, so it sure wasn't here!

Hope you will get the snow you want. Just finally getting some snow in Central Ontario. Hope you get to feeling better also.

I find it so cool that you're getting snow and that you were able to just sit and watch it fall which sounds like a real relaxing experience to me. For me the best experience currently is just watching it get brighter every night but a few days of snow wouldn't interfere with that that much.

Personally..I can take the snow...or leave it. ;0)
Preferrably...LEAVE IT!
Cuts down on the days I feel like driving, but with Ed doing most of the driving ....let it snow, rain or shine. :0)
Snow and cold definately hinders the "camping" urges. :0(
Oh Hell...what I'm trying to say is...any day above ground is a GR8 DAY. I shit you not! (((hugs)))Pat

We have like... 2, maybe 3 inches here in Northern Wisconsin, tip of Lake Superior. Which is super weird. Also weird is that it's going to be in 30's like all week. Normal for January is -20.

I'm like you... I can sit and watch it snow all day and night. It's so beautiful to watch...

I hope all is well with you... :o)

Until you've got enough snow to build a snow man, it hasn't snowed. You've simply experienced a bit of winter flakiness.

Bear stuck out his snout to see what has been happening Still winter; back to hibernation.

Blessings and Bear hugs for 2013.

Yeah, we've just had a little snow so far. But I'm okay with that.
