I should have been a hooker!

I would totally be able to "work" if I could do so from my bed. I am still so exhausted and it is getting worse.  Have been helping daughter during this eviction thing.  Yesterday they moved into their townhouse.  Needs MAJOR cleaning.  Bah.  I don't even clean my own house.  Too tired.  I need to mow before the village fines me.  I need milk....hey!  Why doesn't the milkman come any more and just put the milk in that silver-colored lidded box by the back door?  I s'pose it was the fact that so many kids being born looked like the milkman.  Laundry?  Why?  I spend all my day in my nightgown when I am fortunate enough to get a day at home to myself.

What am I gonna do about this?  First I will wait to hear from the Cardio-Thorasic surgeon about the C.T. I just had.  Then - assuming all is the same - I will quit smoking and start eating the way a II Diabetic should eat.  I also need the doctor the draw some blood and check this Thyroid crap.  He put me on Synthyroid even though I still have my entire Thyroid.  He put me on it  because of the nodules.

Life is just stupid.  One of these days my daughter and I are going to take a drive and crash into a pillar going 90 miles and hour.  I have just the right one picked out.

If you are like ME as I have mentioned before....your thought process will kick in and talk to you. Such as..." with my luck...I'd end up a vegetable."
Can't tell you how many times during my life that same thought entered my mind, but my SMART self talked me out of it. :0)

It sounds like you, at least, need an email buddy. (hint)

I didn't know you were also a diabetic. With your nerves, tests, etc., I could be your clone. I even had a prior life like yours.

Here's a little something I've learned: SEPARATE your problems from the problems of others.

The cleaning that your daughter's new place needs, let HER clean where SHE will live. If she doesn't want to, it's her decision. If she wants it clean, it's HER job.

If you were dead, the world would keep turning and your daughter would live as she wants to.

Was YOUR mom there to clean YOUR dirt? I doubt it. And you managed.

My friend lotta has wonderful, helpful ideas.

Me, I just feel so sad for you. It seems like you are like a trapped animal. Maybe an animal in a zoo, or something worse.

Blessings and Bear hugs!

Laughing at misfortune is the best way to stay ahead of it, well at least far away so it doesn't eat you.
Love the title of the post

Well, sweetie pie...your title here caught my attention. :)
Bless ya'lls hearts....this eviction stuff is terrible. Lots of folks around here having to move out, too.

I sure hope you get all the medical stuff worked out...once you feel better, have more energy, you will feel mentally better, too, I think.
I smoked for over 40 yrs and quit 10 years ago. Know you don't wanna hear it but it was THE BEST thing I ever did. No more coughing, spitting, sinus infections....of course, I gained 20 lbs before I could turn around twice but that evened out before long. I have to watch what I eat closer and I've taken sugar right out of my diet. I found a sugar sub that is HEAVEN.
Take care...xoxo, bj

I know the feeling of wanting to drive into a pillar...

Consider, if you must, but fail to deliver, will you?

I love the title of your post. Love the last part, too, about finding the right pillar to crash your car into. You sound like you're about as delighted with life's funny little twists and turns as I am.

Sarcasm ahoy!

I had no friggin' idea you were a type 2 diabetic like me. also didn't know about the laundry list of your other health problems. You and I should get together and see how many, combined we can come up with that we have. What fun we'd have!

Seriously, I hope your cat scan doesn't reveal anything negative. You have enough on your loaded plate. I wouldn't worry about cleaning her house. She should clean it. As somebody who's having issues with family members using me as a sympathetic grunt to all their problems, I'd let take care of most of her problems and give advice when she asks for it.

Take care of you, middle child! See you around the blogosphere. :) I'm here if you need support.

I had one huge nodule/growth behind one side of my thyroid and had half my thyroid removed. I take synthroid to keep the other side from getting a nodule/growth. The kind I had eventually turns into cancer. But, it was not cancerous. If you have to have your thyroid removed, do not allow them to remove the parathyroids. Read up on it. My doctor told me that if a person had to have cancer, thyroid cancer was the best kind to have.

The CT scan showed a tiny growth. In reality, I had a 1 inch sphere! I could swallow better two hours after surgery than before surgery.
