Shakin' and Blowin'

Am having trouble blogging of late.  I could blame yard work but I know it's time to go back to see my orthopedic surgeon.  My neck is messed up again and aside from manageable pain, it affects my arms as in shaking and numbness.  Also, my laptop is soooo sensitive to touch that I could even just blow on it and it does stuff.  Weird stuff.
Other than that, I am fine.  Sleeping?  I need to start going to bed at 9 or 10 and see if I can get on some sort of schedule.  Take yesterday for instance.  I took a 4 hour "nap."  4 pm to 8pm.  Then up till 2am.  Woke this morning at around 11am.   Gah. I am worthless.
Will help Hunter clean out our air conditioner and we will also do our neighbors.  I need to pick up my sleep your ass off medicine and a gallon of milk.  Then I want to get some weeding done but not sure how much my neck will tolerate.  Sometimes I'm like...fuck it.  And I do it anyway.  Um,...that's seems to be how I feel about sex sometimes.  Like the mornings I am sound asleep and I always think Hunter is after me because he dreamt of   Wonder Woman  someone else.
See what I mean?  I was just posting happily along and BOOM.  I breeze must have come by and blew this post away.  I found it in drafts.  Will go now before it goes.

The wonderous thing about retirement...we can stay up as late as we want, sleep as late as we want...and sometimes, I don't go to bed at all the whole entire freakin' night. I just love staying up...and sleeping in the next day.

I've worked all day long outside in my yard...and it still looks pretty pitiful.Last summer's DEVILISH heat and no rain just ruined our grass. I put out new seed and every dove for a thousand miles swarms my yard for a picnic...Oh, well, hopefully, it will get better.

Hope your neck gets better, too.

Sounds like you really need to get that neck thing checked out. I can totally relate to your sleep being messed up. Sometimes I think my depression causes my weird sleep or lack of sleep patterns.

They say..."misery loves company." What's with all our sleep problems? Seems to be the #1 issue with us women.
I can soooo relate to this! sighhhhhhh
As for the aches and pains....I'll tell you what your mother and friends wouldn't tell you...these are The RUSTY YEARS!
So sorry to tell you this, but " The Golden Years' are a fucking lie thst was perpertrated on us. You know...like the Easter Bunny,Santa and my all time favorite, "better days are coming."
We're in for a rough ride. Hang in there m/f.

Ah yes, the illusive decent sleeping pattern. I know that your life is a mixture of emotions and yet, somehow, the breeze settled down long enough for you to submit your posting.
Look after YOU! :)

Oh, I hear you. Have been on a prescription sleep aid for years now. Without it, I go DAYS without sleep.

And my neck is messed up.

See? So many things in common, you and I... :-)

Feel better.
