I did want to send out love and prayers to all affected by the tornadoes. We can see the devastation on TV but things like these are never real to us unless we have experienced it.
I did have a set of blinds fall on me and I can't figure out how to get them back up. Guess The Hunter will have to get it up when he gets home. My daughter's phone is off again. So I don't know how she's doing or when my Nate's track meet is. Pisses me off. Can't she borrow some one's phone? So I guess I will run out there Tuesday. It's 45 minutes away and gas is $4.19 a gallon. Well-let's not go there right now. I've had two days of sunshine and I don't know how long that stays in one's system, so I will take advantage of feeling good while I can. Hopefully I can get my anemones planted. They have been sitting in their pots for a couple weeks now. At least they are growing well. I have been trying to switch everything over to perennials. I also finally divided my day lilies and really spread them out. I am sooo excited to see them come up and bloom. Peace.

hahah you said The Hunter will have to get it up. You nasty girl you. I kid, I kid.
And I just learned that you also speak dog. How amazing are you.
Enjoy the sunshine!
Spring finally arrived here as well and I am loving the sunshine!
You gotta watch out for those blinds. They can attack without being provoked. Nasty buggers.
Sounds like a great day! Well, except for the blinds (which can wait) and the phone thing (annoying, but not fatal). Enjoy the sun while you can! We'll have some here tomorrow, but I don't have any yardwork to do. :-(
Enjoy smoking inside.
I wish a neighbor or someone else could help you with those blinds. I hate thinking that The Hunter will feel like a big man when you ask a favor from him. But I don't think you should try to do it yourself...I speak from experience and know that they can be heavy and throw you off-balance (and therefore, off of the chair you are standing on) when they shift in your hands.
Your yard sounds like it's really coming along. You have made a good decision to plant perennials; I think I will make that a goal too. I want to plant a border of hostas along our back fence under the huge sequoia tree. I thought about asking my husband to build the border out of those blocks you see in nurseries but I know he will say it is too hard a job. So I guess I will check out instructions online and do it myself! There is a great hosta nursery nearby and I have always been so curious to go and see it. Then the guy who mowed down our long grass for the first mow of the season (it would have burned out the motor on our electric mower) told me it is a fantastic place with hundreds of hostas. Makes me want them all the more!
Take care, enjoy the sun, be safe.
Sunshine? Mowing?! Send that stuff this way!!

I love flowers. I would also like it to make it a goal to plant perennials for summer flowers. Enjoy the sun and your time alone:)
I wish I gardened. I feel the urge to plant some herbs and flowers but never do. Hmmm....I never do a lot of things I want to...why is that? Sorry it is one of those days where I am rambling. It stinks that you have to drive all that way to find out about the meet. It is wonderful you are so involved though. We made out okay here in Oklahoma...no tornadoes in my neighborhood. Hope you continue to enjoy the outdoors...it is raining here but that suites my mood.
I got to watch part of the "wedding" only cause I was up at 430am at the gym and they had it on the TV.
While I know its a big event, its just not something Im into.
I must be strange I guess cause the rest of the world seemed to be all wrapped up in it.
PS I love to be outside in the yard.
My mind also went to the dirty side when you said about the hunter having to get it up, lol. Naughty me. I'm glad you decided to be a part of my giveaway :)
*hugs*
Sarah
