Lost Day

Started out good once I got going. We went to church at 6:30 am. (I am not a morning person). Was a good service. Came home and was tired and feeling the little irritations. Got more tired as the day wore on. Went to The Hunter's son's girlfriend's mom's house for Easter dinner. I guess I just have sensitive taste buds or I'm weird or whatever. The Hunter put all kinds of stuff on the ham. The salad they made had oil, vinegar and liquid enzymes? And weird stuff on the ribs and the super-duper mac and cheese was....different. Some people would say I am fussy. I think I am more of a hot dog, pork roast, chicken, rice, pasta, fruit, cereal, steak, salads, etc. kind of girl. LOVE Italian food. I just like "normal" food. Anyway, I was just so very tired. Then too, The Hunter tends to monopolize all conversations and the girlfriend's mom is totally an alpha female. So, when I could get a word in edgewise, after about 4 words, I was interrupted. I finally gave up at that point.
Maybe I am boring. BTW, I have a strong voice, not a whispery one. At any rate, I just want to thank all of you for listening to me without interrupting.

I've took care of those issues, I just don't go anywhere.

I tried to tell you everything is okay, but you wouldn't shut up long enough. I agree with the simple food, too. If it had been me, I would have let a stinky fart, slapped the hunter in the back of the head for doing it and leave. Let him talk himself out of that.

I'll eat just about anything, but what on earth are "liquid enzymes"? It doesn't sound appealing. Is it supposed to be good for you or something?

Liquid enzymes? That sounds so....uh, well, unappetizing!!!

The dinner conversation sounds similar to what happens at my IL's home. I can't get a word in edge-wise and when I try, I only get interrupted or told my opinion is "stupid".
