Lost days and back to the dentist.

Super Bowl. We went to the Hunter's son's house to watch it. I have been really tired the last several days and really didn't want to go. But The Hunter made all this fish stuff and other things I don't care for but others love. He drank enough that he made two comments that just made me realize he is (still) kind of a scuzzy guy. Maybe all you men are like this, I don't know. BTW, I am not a prude, as you know if you've been reading me. Anyway, he was recounting-to his son's girlfriend's mom how he told the waitress at Hooters how to eat a raw oyster - I was not there. He picks it up and makes lapping motions. You get my drift. I mean, who does that? The second thing was when his son's girlfriend's mom mentioned having lost alot of weight and wanting to lose more, The Hunter said, that's ok, we'll just roll you in flour and look for the wet spot. Really? It makes me sick that he says these things aloud when others are present. I get that guys are visual. I get that guys will jump on anything that has boobs and a hole or two.

Guess it just hit me wrong. And then, the fact that we were at the house of the son that he's giving all our money to. And I was just at a wake and so I'm thinking about death and since The Hunter said that if he died before I did, his son would pay me back the $25,000.00 the The Hunter owes me and that the son is also s'posed to pay off my house which The Hunter has mortgaged. But what I was thinking about was, who would pay for a funeral? Would I have to ask his son to take care of all that? And then I got tiny tears in my eyes. ( Damn Emotions).

It's just stupid the way the thoughts in my mind swirl around. I have no control and I never know what topic will pop up in there for consideration.
I'll be fine tomorrow. I get to go to the dentist because the permanent crown I had put on is,...defective. WTF! I have to go through all that again? Plus he has to saw off the crown that's on there now?! So,...an hour in the chair for something I'd already taken care of. Then there's my daughter who had to borrow gas money from her SIL so they could go there for the Superbowl, plus their dryer just broke. Should I ask The Hunter's son if he'd help them out? See,...now I'm just being silly.

The wet spot comment stopped being funny when I was a teenager many many years ago.

Wow this sounds like a really bad week! My step-father had a sense of humor similar to this and it used to drive me up a wall. He was more antagonistic though. It's so hard to be around. I finally had to realize he wasn't embarrassing me, he was embarrassing himself. And there was no way I could control what he chose to do. I hope the others were able to handle it well. So sorry for this. I'll say a prayer for your dentist work and this situation. Things have deteriorated in dentistry. In NJ they actually try and con you into replacing all your fillings... for no reason.

Hi there, the frozen smoothie isn't a powder, it's actually frozen strawberries and banana and I think there are lumps of frozen yogurt that helps make it extra creamy. It was better than a McD's milkshake!!!!

Wow. Not a cool comment with that wet spot thing. I think you need your money. Not sure but I think the dentist also owes you a big discount and free cleanings. Saw off a crown? Sounds horrible. Hugs.

Yuk--Even having said or heard those--I quit around 7th grade like R. Jacob said. Sorry--but Sometimes you just have to grow up. Hope your week gets better!

Those comments they made (including the classless wet spot comment) were tacky and not funny to anyone except the person who said them. I don't know how you could stand having to hang around them. You have much more tact than I do.

No. That behavior is not okay. He was being a prick, Darling. And not in a good way.

This is the first time I've read your blog...I love the way you write but I'm confused. Are you MARRIED to this HUNTER? And if so...why? You seem unhappy and he seems kinda assy. ???
