First Paragraph

You may recall a recent post in which I discussed Christmas newsletters. I also admitted to sending a few. Here is the first paragraph of my first newsletter.

HAPPY HOLIDAYS!

This is not a brag letter. As you recall, I drive a 1983 cavalier, our van has almost 200,000 miles on it and I still work at Target. We are merely sharing the blessings in our lives; our children, grandchildren and each other. However, if you are still adverse to receiving such a letter, turn it over and consider it you Christmas gift. FREE SCRATCH PAPER!

Such a loving and caring newsletter. I'm still wiping tears from my eyes. And it is so hard to find good scratch paper...you really do care, don't you.

Freakin LOVE IT!

I have never personally sent the "holiday" letter out to anyone.
While to each his own, I find the ones I receive from relatives a bit annoying.

I also figure everyone already knows all my freakin business anyways.
SO no need for a letter from me.

I love your Newsletter. I only love that kind of a newsletter. I hate the "normal" ones, e.g., Johnny got married, Suzie had a bouncing baby boy, Jake and I are taking a cruise next month, Karl and Dani bought a new house, Charla is pregnant with her first, dad was denied parole again. You know.
