What's in a name?

Tomorrow we are s'posed to be going out to breakfast at Richard Walker's with my husband's son and new girlfriend. Her name is Shabot. Yes indeed and I forget it every time I try to remember it. I know I am going to call her shazbot or sherbet or something equally stupid. His last girlfriend was Kasia (Katashinka?). These girls are awesome but I did have to ask him if he picks these girls based on their names or what? I am looking forward to it.

By the way, I look beautiful right now. Had my hair done and as always, she did a marvelous job. My man said he liked it but then kept asking me if I liked it. We then had this chasing in a circle conversation which made me dizzy. Basically, he was telling me I should go more often because otherwise I get too gray. Then says, "But you do whatever you like honey." At some point he's doing this math shit and comes up with the fact that it would cost him about $200 a year if he went in for regular haircuts. And I guess he is relating that to the fact of my going more often to um,...use the same money???? I get my hair foiled, 2 diff colors and in a chunky way. You know, like stripes. And I only get it trimmed a bit if it needs it. So,...$200 would get me what,...2 visits per year? It was just another one of those pour me a drink moments. Didn't think 'till just now that I should have told him he owed me (as I have cut his hair the last 20 yrs.) about $4000! See my last post. Peace.

I'm not trained, but I've been saving the family huge bucks, for 3 decades, by doing all the hair cutting. My daughter is trained and I think she has cut my hair, maybe two or three times, in the 10 or so years since she got her license. Hmmmm? I'd say she owes me, big time!

Ha ha! I had to read that 3 times. I thought you were going to dinner with your husband's girlfriend.

Keeping the hair looking good isn't free! I spend about $100 a month on mine, but it's the San Francisco Bay Area, and that's what it costs here. The alternative is to only wear hats or shave my head or both! Oy Vey!
