Too tired to say.
I got reacquainted with strawberry daiquiris a couple nights ago. I forgot how refreshing they could be on a hot summer night. Later that night, I started getting this pain on the upper right side of my chest. No big deal. It only hurt every time I inhaled. Felt bit weird about it but was able to sleep well. The next day I still had it and it seemed to be hurting more. I am not an alarmist. I always wait until I can see a doctor or if it is a case of needing emergency surgery, I usually just drive myself to the hospital. But this time, it just hurt too much. I thought my husband was taking a nap so I left him a note telling him I was going to urgent car or immediate care or whatever. But, he was out back tending his garden. So, I told him where I was going and he said to give him a minute to finish up and he would take me. When he went inside to grab his keys and wallet, he saw the note I had left and after we got home, he read me the riot act but in a calm, sweet voice. He told me not to ever go without letting him know. If I am sick, he wants to take me. Anyway, he asked which one I wanted to go to (at this point I didn't care) so he took me to one he said he'd been to. (wasn't the same one but anyway) Turns out it was a 24 hour auxiliary E.R. They inform you right away because the charges would be the same as if you had gone to the E.R at the hospital. Ah. I am dragging this out. I am fine. Potassium was low and they gave me a pill. Had xray and ct and blood work showing I could have a problem with a clot so then another ct and then with contrast. Funny thing though. Once I was done with the first C.T., with arms overhead, it seemed to lessen the pain considerable. I am to see my G.P. and also follow up with a visit to a pulmonologist in about 3 monthes. So, there you have it. Nothing exciting. We ae just enjoying our summer filled with Dr. visits interspersed with grilled meals and ball games. Peace.

I love a good strawberry daiquiri and grilling, but you can have all that extra excitement. I don't want any part of them, thank you very much. Hope you are feeling better.
Still scary. Glad all is well.
Phew. Glad everything's okay. Also glad you didn't have a reaction to the daquiris. That would be so sad!
I am glad you are OK.
I hope your husband appreciates what a great wife you are...not wanting to disturb his nap...
I am so sorry you went through this. I hate going to ER's / doctors / dentists / vets / church... Okay I'm getting carried away. I hope you are feeling a lot better!
