Am I a good husband or what?

Wow. I see I made alot of errors in my last post. Does it count that I usually blog around midnight? Man told me last night that we needed to get groceries so "let's get up early so we can go around 6am." What? We don't work. We had no appts. And I don't get up that early. But he did yell up to me to wake up and have some coffee so we could get going. It wasn't 6am, but I'm just saying. Then I spent the rest of the day helping him clean the gutters. Our house is over 100 yrs. old and there are many roofs. He almost fell off the porch roof in front. That would have been awful!!! He could have damaged the porch and that is where I live most of the time. BTW, Man told me that I am in love with my cigs. So,...I've decided to go to bed hugging a carton of them tonight. I will take red lipstick and write "I LOVE YOU CIGARETTES!" on the mirror. Really? What kind of stupid-ass comment is that?

He is probably flipping out cuz we have an appraiser coming Tues. for our refinancing and he thinks it may not pass cuz of all the holes he's put in the wall and wires and outlets hanging out of the walls. And then there's that hole right here behind me that is big enough for me to fall thru into the room below. Or maybe we'll fail because of the bulging paneling/peg board over the kitchen sink. Think there might be some mold back there?

Who am I? Well, you notice I am not asking for new furniture or a cruise or a new tv or a pool. I'd just like walls and floors. Is that too much to ask?
Peace.

Dear Middle Child:

Thank you for visiting my blog and commenting.

Why are you not able to have the kind of day I described? Why must you only dream about it?

The greatest and most precious book I have ever bought and read is Norman Vincent Peale's "The Power of Positive Thinking." It is POWERFUL. I live my life according to the principles shown in this book.

I have an extra copy that I would be delighted to send to you if you send me your mailing address, via my blog, writingstraightfromtheheart.blogspot.com

I hope you have a peaceful, blessed day. Sincerely, Susan

You are very welcome, but it made me sad to think of the life that you must lead. It hurt my heart!
"The Power of Positive Thinking" is a good book to read!

I'm following along to see where this journey leads me!

Happy 4th July, may it bring you peace!

One thing that helps me through the rough times is to think, "The sun will rise tomorrow, and who knows what the tide could bring." That has helped me so much. I hope it does the same for you :) I look forward to following your blog and reading posts. I hope your days get brighter :) Follow back!
