Sunday Drivers

Remember driving somewhere on a Sunday and there were all these old people just poking along at less than the speed limit, taking in the "sights" and basically pissing you off cuz they're in your way? Well, somewhere between let's get high and ready to die, we have become those people. We were actually going to a car show to get some measurements for a friend of my husband's. And as per usual, we left pretty late. I had the choice to go along and so I did. We have our best conversations in the car. Ok,...truth is,..I was hoping we'd stop and eat so I wouldn't have to cook. We didn't find the vehicle but we did find a little place to eat on the way home.

It's really only in the low 80's but even with the air on, I feel hot. We are being promised some 70 degree weather so the next ball game should be enjoyable. We actually had a blast at Friday's game. I was in such a good mood and I know that I was in trouble with the adults for my behavior, but too bad. My "babies" and I had too much fun. They think I am nuts but they are also glad of it. I s'pose I scare them a little sometimes but that's the fun of it. Like I ask how school's going knowing full well that they aren't in school right now. They usually catch on right away. We just laugh. I don't do enough of that.

So, I am who I am......and I do what I do.
And if you don't like it...that's too bad for you.

Sounds rather pleasant. 80's doesn't sound too bad, but when it is beating down on you, it can feel a lot warmer than it is. It is supposed to hit 100 here this week, so I am jealous.

I bet your "babies" love it that you're willing to have fun with them like that! :-)

I'd settle for 80's!

I'd love it if it got in the low '80's here---we had over 100 degrees all weekend! Blech!

It's pleasant here today as well. Thankfully. It's just been too freakin hot.

Those people...LOL! Growing up, I remember my Dad gettin all pissed about slow drivers and how he'd bitch and complain if we got stuck behind them... Last week I went for a ride with my folks, turns out Dad became one of those people too. He never did make it to the 55 mph speed limit. I had to give him shit!
