Hurry while it lasts!

Finally.  I feel good today.  Sunshine but it is quickly getting dark so I thought I'd get out a post before I get all pissy, whiny and moody.  Even went to the dentist and it's all good.!  Hunter went hunting this morning but I know it was more to spend the time with one guy's 4 month old Lab.  I think we my be getting a dog sooner rather than later.  Would probably make our spring traveling a bit more difficult but the rewards are worth it.  Hunter's health is getting worse.  I know a dog would be a comfort to him.  And me?  I have been an animal lover since the day I was born.  Doubters?  OK.  How many of you have held a Tarantula?  Ridden a camel?  Tried to pull a snake out of a hole to get a better look at it?  Mmm-Hmmm.  I thought so.

VFW for rib eye tonight.  No drinking for me.  I had enough Christmas Eve to last a couple of months.  Hunter is taking a nap cuz he's worn out from walking the fields this morning.  Guess I will wake him in about 15 minutes.  I hate waking anyone, especially him because he doesn't sleep much to begin with.
