Let it snow, WTF, Let it snow,...

We've had big snow storms but never blizzardy like this. Yeah blizzardy is a word - look it up in your Fuck and Wagnel's or however you spell it. I would do the spell check thing but it doesn't know alot of words so I don't want it to break. No,..not drunk and no, Xanax doesn't seem to be working and yes,..left elbow is killing me. What else is new? It's anger you're looking at, I suppose. Just,...The Hunter kind of turned back into his other self yesterday and so it continues. I guess I am too gullible, gilligan, garbled fullashit,..whatever. I think I am just an optimist even though I pose as a pessimist. Got that? I am getting ready to go sit out in the opiu,..garage to smoke and drink my coffee and collect my thoughts or even make up some new ones. I am no fool. I know that when there's a blinding blizzard, you tie a rope from your starting point so you can follow it to get back. I was planning to tie it to the back door and unroll it as I travel across the barren wasteland to our garage. The very observant Hunter says, "I wouldn't go out there." To which I responded, "Neither would I." But I have to go outside cuz of his COPD,...oh, and he did tell me that when I find a partially smoked cig propped in the ashtray, it was his. Um,...what? I know. He truly does have trouble breathing and as a smoker, I do understand. I know I am just in a bad mood. That's actually weird cuz I'm a blizzard lovin' girl! I doubt it helped when he said, "I wouldn't go out on the big porch, it's all full of snow, but you could go out and stand in that little corner and the wind shouldn't get you." He's trying to be helpful. I will sleep off this pissy mood but God help The Hunter if he wakes me at 5:00 a.m. to get on the shoveling detail in the continuing wind-whipped snow drifts. 'Course that beats trying to shovel on Thurs. when it's supposed to be somewhere around no degrees out. And here's the funny part,.....Full-on sun that day. Shall I build a snow-woman wearing a bikini? Ah,..I'm done here. I haven't seen Belle and I am hoping The Hunter didn't let her out and forget to let her back in.

It's blizzardy here too. More snow to pile on top of the already tons we have now. I don't think people were made to live this far North!

Does your grocery store deliver groceries by helicopter? We only had snow down here for a few days, and I was tied of it, but you guys…move South, baby.

I agree this weather sucks ass.
I shoveled my driveway with the sportsman and the soccerboy yesterday 3 freakin times.

I even suggested at one point we just quit and build an igloo.

Doesnt that sound like fun. I didnt get any takers.

My suggestion is to bed into bed and refuse to move until the snow stops coming. Cabin Fever? I think we've all got a touch of it.

The blizzardiness (and that is now a word, too,) seems to have stopped up here, but everything's still closed and cancelled, so I just have to hunker down and figure out how to fill up this day with something interesting. I love renting, though, because I don't have to shovel.

I'm feeling kind of guilty. It's sunny and about 70 degrees here. Poor you! Poor Belle! Dang Girl, if you do this again, do it in California!

PS Your blog is here and I can comment on it. I am not sure what is going on with your adminstrative privileges within the blog itself. Have you contacted Blogger? I don't have your email to be able to email you this. Sorry to jumble up your post.

I've been hearing about all your crap weather over there. I even heard about freak ice storms in Dallas, Texas. Good grief!
We had the worst and coldest December ever recorded, over here, in lil' ol England:-) Of course, now it's early February and it's sunny and warm. Hmmm, maybe not.
I do hope your weather improves soon and your left elbow gets better, very soon.
And oh yes, you might just like to pop over to my shy and humble blog. For you have an award and well deserved too:-)
Take care, spring will soon be here.
Gary :-)

I couldn't get into mine the other day. I opened up Norton security and turned off my personal firewall, and it worked. Everything is normal now, even with the firewall on

I just read this post a second time and it made me laugh yet again. Am I laughing at you....possibly. But only in the 'i love you' sort of way. The Hunter needs to go to bed and let you smoke in a little corner in the living room with the window cracked. I mean come on. I have an allergy to ciggie smoke but I still light up socially. Hope you make it through this blasted blizzard in one piece with no cabin fever!

Thanks for sharing your words and more importantly, your heart.

I lived in Ohio for three years and finally I called the clueless weatherman and told him I was tired of shovelling ten inches of partly cloudy off my driveway...I have not seen snow since (but I do
have to admit I sometimes miss it)

I don't smoke and still I had to sneak away for a smoke break...darn near burn the shed down one day.

Keep writing, you have every right to feel good about who you are...you are a talented story-teller and writer and nobody can ever take that from you!

I say enough's enough with the snow.

It takes too long to smoke a cigarette in freezing weather. I think time stretches out (so I have been told).

Stay warm, my friend!

Just blogging around this afternoon and found your blog. Thank goodness Delaware has been spared the blizzards so far this year. Maybe we had our share last year, wit back to back blizzards and 3 feet of snow. You have done a great job with your page. Thanks for letting me visit.
