I just gotta ask.

I am a Christian. I always have been and I always will be. I'm not looking for a discussion so much as a clarification. I have seen so many comments on blogs and other sites on the Internet that refer to Karma. What goes around comes around? He'll get his? Justice? You get what you give?

Tell me what it means to you. Is it just a "phrase" or something more? Is it a life's belief system? If so, could you expound on this a bit? How did it start? Where did it come from? What does it all mean?

I know the same questions could be asked of my belief in God. I just don't get it and would like to understand better. Like,.....I understand what evolution is all about. I understand Judaism. I understand those who are atheists or agnostics. But I don't understand Karma as a religion or part of a religion.
